When we started?
Simply Delicious began almost 20 years ago, with a vision of introducing finer, more savoury baked items and confectionery to their clientele. And so it did. In no time everyone had a ‘SD’ favourite and with its many outlets all over Pune, it became a favourite snaking joint.
When passion becomes a way of life there is no looking back. And that holds true for Mrs. Rajashree Jangle the whole and soul of Simply Delicious. An economics graduate for Mumbai University, Rajashree simply loved baking and cooking! Along with ‘hand- me- down’ recipes from friends and family, came the encouragement to start something for her own. Her first commercial order, so to say came on 19th of February 1991, which she executed all by herself from her kitchen at home.
This first order paved the way for even bigger orders, fancy birthday cakes and finally the first ‘Simply Delicious’ outlet on the 28th of April 1991. Today she has an independent, fully equipment production unit and experienced staff that make sure everything baked, cooked, packaged and home delivered remains ‘Simply Delicious’.
